The SE Enrichment Program provides strength based, user-friendly, supplemental educational activities that when intermingled with LAUSD course curriculum, will enhance our children’s overall learning experience. Students that participate in the SE Enrichment Program will receive instruction from qualified, experienced teachers in accordance with classroom standards here at Emelita Academy Charter. Please note our enrichment classes are only held at our Emelita site.
Print and fill out the registration form and bring it to our office along with your payment.
Children will practice and learn how to compete in robotics-based tournaments. Robots are controlled with video game controllers to perform tasks and competitions.
Children will learn the basic fundamentals and tactics of soccer through fun and creative soccer drills. Our classes teach kids of all ages in a high-energy, non-competitive program designed to encourage good sportsmanship and a love for sports.
Children will learn to design and compete in Lego building challenges. They will use their imagination to build unique and creative designs in a fun and exciting environment.
Carrom is a “strike and pocket” table game of Eastern origin similar to billiards and table shuffleboard. This class will introduce children to geometric angles to help any child sink a hole in one on any carrom board. This will be a tournament based enrichment. A winner will be crowned during the final week of enrichment and win a one of a kind carrom board.
This includes different flavors of original cupcake recipes from vanilla, chocolate, double chocolate, strawberry, red velvet, and cookies and cream. These classes will cover cupcake designs of children’s favorite Star Wars characters.
